Description
Students will investigate the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire by first creating an investigation notebook and then searching for eyewitness statements and evidence scattered around the classroom. As they find more clues, students will start to understand the horrific events that took place. They’ll wrap up the activity by writing a report explaining what caused the fire, who was to blame for the fire, and propose laws to prevent such a tragedy from happening again. A quick Exit Ticket is also included.
