Description
Do you teach the causes of the Civil War? This printable packet contains 36 key events from U.S. History that occurred between 1831-1861. It begins in 1831 with Nat Turner’s Revolt and ends in 1861 with the attack on Ft. Sumter.
Just print out the pages (there’s one event per 8.5 x 11 inch page) and display the events on your bulletin boards, classroom walls, or hallways.
♥️This set is perfect for reinforcing what students are learning about the causes of the Civil War plus it helps your visual learners connect to the content.♥️
➡️While the PDF timeline is not editable, you can easily customize each set by pulling out events your students don’t need to learn about or by using the included editable template to add additional events specific to your state standards. ✏️
Note: This time period overlaps my timeline for Manifest Destiny so some of the events are included in both timeline sets.
