This Civil Rights Movement map activity reinforces students’ knowledge of the 48 continental states while they locate key cities where important Civil Rights Movement events occurred. It’s an easy way to incorporate geography into your Civil Rights Movement unit. Students will label, color, and draw on the map and then answer a few questions.
