Students will label and color a map of the African Kingdoms of Axum, Ghana, Mali, and Songhai to better understand the geography of the time period. They will also label main bodies of water, deserts, key cities, as well as, the Congo Basin, Serengeti Plain, and Mt. Kilimanjaro. 5 questions about the map are optional.
