In this Revolutionary War activity, students will explore whether they would have been a loyalist or a patriot during the Revolutionary War. This activity will help students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the difficult choices that American colonists made in the years leading up to the American Revolution.
Students are presented with 12 scenarios and two choices in this American Revolution activity. Students will pick the choice that best represents what they would have done if they were living in years preceding the Revolutionary War. At the end, students will tally up their choices and learn if they would have been a Loyalist or a Patriot.
