Description
A PowerPoint takes students through a simulation where they are early explorers making the first voyage around the world. As explorers, will they make wise decisions and succeed, or will their expedition fail?
Students face 14 scenarios where they choose from several options. If they choose wisely, they gain coins for their treasury and if they make the wrong decision, they lose coins. While the simulation takes some liberties, students will learn about the difficulties of circumnavigating the globe
After student complete the fun simulation, they will write a fictional narrative account about their expedition.
